I am still writing to you from the hospital, but rest assured I will take the return boat today itself, which is why I am so brief this time. Indeed, I would miss the mail to France if I waited for Moncay, and this morning, with a trunk to handle and the formalities to complete, I find myself very busy.
I am healed but my leg is still quite sensitive, and the doctor is forcing me to take another 15 days of rest at home. As a result, all I do is change deck chairs. No news from Jeanne and the baby, so that’s good news.
Tomorrow evening we will be together. I hope that both of you are in good health and that your summer is pleasant. See you soon,
